Angelehnt an geographische Formen und Entwicklungen verschiedener mitteleuropäischer Inseln und Küstenabschnitte werden küstendynamische Prozesse von Abrasion und Akkumulation an imaginären Inseln vollzogen. Gemäß diesen Prozessen verändern sich Form und Lage der Insel stetig, sodass sich menschliche Bauwerke wie Stege und Hütten nach einiger Zeit und einige Darstellungsschritte später am anderen Ende der Insel wiederfinden, vom Meer verschluckt werden und eventuell an anderer Stelle neu errichtet werden.
Based on geographical forms and developments of various Central European islands and coastal sections, coastal dynamic processes of abrasion and accumulation are simulated on imaginary islands. As a result of these processes, the shape and location of the island are changing constantly, so that, after some time, human structures such as piers and huts can be found at the other end of the island, are washed away by the sea and have to be rebuilt in a different place.
